Moooi’s stand at Superstudio Piu plunged headlong into a natural and sensuous erotic theme, with subtle mood-lighting and the romance of flowers.

Visitors could enjoy a cup of teas relaxing in the seating area of bean-bag chairs “Dickies”, shaped just as their name suggest, designed by Anthony Kleinepier. The area included wall mounted “Dickies” in various positions for anyone who found their design too subtle!

A stunning flower wall ran the length of the stand, designed by Niels van Eijk and Miriam van der Lubbe, sponsored by the Flower Council of Holland.

“Barbarella”, a furry sheepskin sofa by Ross Lovegrove (image right), provided another erotic and wonderfully tactile focal point. Lovegrove said: “Imagine being naked on it, making love with an amazing blonde like Barbarella, feel the tingle and arousal of being connected to nature, the naughtyness and the raw freedom of rolling around all over it, then after the climax a cigar, a brandy and just curling up in front of the fire in a log cabin somewhere.”
