The Bulb Knob (image right) by Yuki Matsumoto for Mazroc is subtle yet very clever. The first place anyone touches when entering any room is the door knob. Matsumoto's inventive door knob is a light in itself.
The shape of the light bulb lends itself perfectly to being a door knob, and the knob is made of phophorescent glass. It stores sunlight enery stored during the daylight hours and emits a gentle luminous light to invite you into a darkened room.
