Post Rennaisance Drip.
Imagine and old candelabra with layers and flows of wax built up over the years......... well I dont have years. What I've recently created is a similar effect except using recycled plastic molten then dripped over a candelabra and then painted in a solid colour to punk it up a bit.
I recently did 3 of these peices for STEVE MADDIN shoes just off Carnaby street each in a different colour (flourecent pink, neon blue and mid purple).
I've just completed a third commisson in this series for a bar in Watford called Rehab all in flourecent pink but the largest one measuring 6ft wide by 5ft high. I'm very exited by this piece which is to be set in a stairwell atrium against a huge monchromic picture of printed wall paper as a backdrop. This media is opening up a whole new scope of artwork that I'm currently imersing myself in.
Molten plastic lovingly drizzeled over steel is the basic recipe so far....
