About

Rosie Weisencrantz is the alter ego of award winning textile designer Caroline Rose Dent, better known for her innovative woven interior fabrics and lighting which she sells through her company Dent Contemporary Textiles.

Rosie Weisencrantz first appeared in a dream in 2004 as a natural response to Caroline's passion for memorabilia, old trinkets and all things vintage, and became the inspirations for this collection of woven necklaces.

Each necklace is totally unique and is individually hand woven using fine old linen thread and beautiful old beads and trinkets picked up on treasure hunts in fleamarkets and antique shops around the country. Each necklace is finished off with the signature mother of pearl button and loop fastening, and comes with an extension so the necklace can be worn at two different lengths.

As an accompaniment to the necklaces, earrings and bracelets are now available. Caroline also offers a commission service, whereby the clients own precious trinkets are incorporated to create a precious and unique string of memories which will be treasured forever, or alternatively made as a very special gift for a loved one.

Wedding necklaces are a particular favourite...often created around the old rhyme "something old... something new... something borrowed... something blue..."

Necklace prices start from £120
