About

ecoh creates paper plants and accessories using twigs and scrap paper such as newspaper, food packages, shopping bags, wrapping paper, books and envelopes that found in the street.  She cuts re-used paper and hold them up to make three dimensional forms.

Originally paper was made from wood. Her idea is that from scrap paper new life once again begins when she transform them into flower blossoms. In this way, her work represents nature’s amazing ability to regenerate. However, not all materials used are recycled she also uses small amount of new materials as well. She hopes to explore the possibilities of recycling through her work and to encourage people to have similar respectful approach to the environment.
