Glass design is an art with inspiring associations of magic, fire and alchemy. Glass works by Hidden Art designer-makers build on this appeal with the creation of functional, tactile works that retain the delicate beauty and intrigue of glass but make it useful for the home.

 

Some designer-makers create works that reach architectural scale, while others make original interpretations of traditional tableware and decorative forms.

Peter Layton's London Glassblowing is a hot glass studio focused on the creation and display of contemporary glass art. The studio has a reputation as one of Europe's leading glassmaking workshops with a particular flair for the use of colour, form and texture.
