About
Slam designs and makes innovative interior products with contemporary-retro styling influences.
Established 2007
Designer MD – James Lucas
Product pictured – Chool
Product description
Chool is an active seating product with contemporary and retro styling influences. When not in use it’s compact and super easy to stow. When you choose to sit on it, the seat smoothly sinks a few inches, operating some clever bits tucked away inside that erects a full size backrest. When you decide to get up and wander away Chool smoothly returns to it’s compact state. You can also lock it in any position you desire. Unlike any other chair Chool fits nearly underneath any table, work surface or desk when not in use, offering a clean clear skyline for its environment. Plus removing clutter and trip hazards. Chool is the first product of it’s kind to seamlessly combine the attributes of a chair and a stool, Patent App No. 1011059.1.
