Sarah Kay and Andrea Stemmer met in Hackney 14 years ago where they shared workshop space, running their own bespoke furniture design/making businesses. Both studied at John Makepeace's renowned Parnham College in Dorset which had an international reputation for teaching the highest level of craftsmanship. This training shows in the detailing and understanding of the material they work with.
Since 2006 they have also designed for several British retailers, whilst continuing to offer a bespoke furniture and interior design service for private clients.
They have a meticulous approach to the commissioning process and work within a range of budgets.
