Julian will be staging a special event titled "Moon over water" open to the public during this year's Hidden Art Open Studios as part of 100% Guaranteed 2004.
Takingplace at the Taverna Especial Gallery, Moon Over Water is a digitaldesign installation by Julian Mayor. The main event is Saturday eveningfrom 5pm-11pm.
Opening Hours: Saturday 25th September 5pm – 11pm / Sunday 26th September 12pm – 6pm.
"Iam interested in the contrast and contradiction of human and machine.From spending time looking at on-screen representations of 3D objects,I find that seeing the inside and outside of an object at once can bebeautiful. I wanted to represent the lightness of a 3D computer modelin a physical form, and to contrast its computer-based development witha traditional material and manufacturing method."
