How to Create Your Designer-Maker Directory Page

Check-list before you start:

1. Are you a Hidden Art Member? You need to be a member of Hidden Art before you can create your page. Find out more at http://www.hiddenart.com/membership

2. Have you registered to create an account? This is totally separate from purchasing membership - you need to register for your account on this page

3. Have you received a confirmation email from Kathryn saying that your account has been validated? We do this manually so we can check that registrations come from Hidden Art Members. It may take up to two days to validate your account, if you are uncertain as to your status, email kathryn@hiddenart.co.ukVery important - If your account has not been validated, you will not be able to create a webpage! You will be able to log-in but you will not see the 'Create a Page...' link described below. You need to wait until the account has been validated. Again, email kathryn@hiddenart.co.uk with any questions.

Once all three steps have been followed, you can create your own directory page with the instructions below.

Creating Your Page (once you've registered at this link)

Visit the Designer-Maker Directory and follow the link at the bottom of the page titled ‘Login’ (you will need the details you used when registering). Now click the ‘create page’ link in the left hand navigation, depending on your discipline.

1. Give your page a name – make it something sensible, your trading name is usually a good bet.
2. Clicking in the meaningful URL box will automatically copy your page name. It is best to leave this as is.
3. You may now populate your own page with information. It is important to remember to preview and then save the changes you make in every individual text box, otherwise your changes will not be saved.
